Naturopathic medicine is a holistic approach to healthcare that emphasizes the body’s innate ability to heal itself. It integrates traditional healing methods with modern medical science, focusing on natural remedies and lifestyle changes to promote wellness and prevent disease. Naturopathic doctors (NDs) are trained in a variety of therapies, including nutrition, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and physical manipulation. They prioritize patient education and personalized treatment plans, aiming to treat the underlying causes of illness rather than just the symptoms. This approach seeks to support the body’s natural healing processes and encourage a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
