Biote hormone pellet therapy is a personalized form of hormone therapy. Small pellets of bioidentical hormones, such as estradiol or testosterone, are placed just under the skin during a short office visit and release hormones gradually. At Nevy Health in Mesa, Biote pellet therapy is provided by our naturopathic doctor and starts with a hormone evaluation and lab work.

Biote pellets are one of the hormone therapy options our naturopathic team offers for both women and men, alongside nutrition, lifestyle and wellness support built around your symptoms, lab results and goals.

What are Biote hormone pellets?

Biote pellets contain bioidentical hormones, which have the same chemical structure as the hormones your body makes. Each pellet is about the size of a grain of rice. Once placed under the skin, usually near the hip, the pellets release hormones steadily over several months, so there are no daily pills, creams or patches to remember.

Your dose is based on your own lab results, symptoms and medical history, and your naturopathic doctor adjusts it at follow-up visits.
